Would you believe us if we told you NORA has been in midtown for 7 years now? That’s right Detroiters, this shop has been around our area for quite some time now and many people are just now discovering it.

It is Detroit’s own modern design store.

The simple colors of the space, and the simplicity of the way the store is arranged calls for a peaceful experience while shopping for interior decor, books, housewares or accessories.

It is the perfect one stop shop for many occasions.

We all know finding a gift can be a difficult challenge, this is especially the case when you know someone who particularly has an eye for design. As we made our way through the store, attention to detail seemed to be the main theme each product carried.

Nora has something for every type of modern day shopper where in a world of choices , everything seems to blend into one another. Nora strays away from that, offering humorous cards, curated stationary and even cute little infant clothing.

In all that Nora held, we were especially drawn to the housewares of mostly colorful ceramic pieces that took everyday kitchen supplies and added a unique twist. If anything, that can be said for the environment of the shop as a whole.
